We are in for a cracking mini Cheltenham Festival run – a couple of races at the meeting this Saturday with the final prep race for the March big week for some of the top contenders!
The weather and the going should be spot on. Willie Mullins and Nicky Henderson go head to head and, as it stands, Nicky is ahead of Willie (who for the last few years has trounced most of the British contenders).
I have a gut feeling that this year the champion trainer for the meeting will go right down to the line with help from the Skelton camp and few of the smaller trainers.
