We had four winning bets yesterday – keeps us in front.
Billie the Kid did his best, but no winners, however he had 2nd @ 12/1: @ 100/30 :
@ 6/4. 3rd @ 8/1 : @ 7/2. 4th @ 9/1.
Congratulations to young Sean Bowen who has just ridden his 1,000 winner and he really deserves to win the jockey championship this year. This young lad was 22 winners in front of Harry Cobden last year and then had a bad fall which put him out of action for a couple of months, so Cobden was way ahead of Sean by the time he got back in the saddle. Bearing in mind that Sean has nowhere near the power rides that Harry Cobden has at his fingertips.
Good luck to the Bowens – a Family with the joint efforts of Mum Dad and the boys all working and pulling together!!
